Found where the foot of the mountains meet the sea, Penmaenmawr Beach is like the seaside used to be. Quiet and low key, with a long promenade, paddling pool and children’s playground. It’s rounded off with a row of traditional beach huts, and brought into the 21st-century with a skate park.
Add incredible views across Conwy Bay to Anglesey and Puffin Island and it sounds too good to be true, right?
